During Your Stay At Rainbow Plantation RV Park

Between all the happenings at Rainbow Plantation, the City of FoleyFairhope and Gulf Shores will keep your days filled with events and fun!

Foley is only 10 short miles away and offers many things to do and great restaurants. Shop until you drop at the Tanger Outlet center located in Foley, featuring over 120 stores! Foley also offers an annual Hot Air Balloon Festival in June, a flower and garden extravaganza in March along with BBQ and Blues at Foley’s Heritage Park. For railroad enthusiasts, there is the Railroad Museum nearby.

Fairhope, about 15 miles away from the park, is a unique town with lots of charm and plenty of things to do and see! They hold annual events such as the Arts & Crafts FestivalFrank Brown International Songwriter’s Festival, and many Antique Shows. You won’t regret visiting this beautiful town whether you want to check out the Museum of History or take a nice stroll through downtown!

Gulf Shores, about 20 miles southeast of the park, is famous for beautiful white sandy beaches and state park. There is always something to do here whether it be fishing, shopping, enjoying some seafood, or listening to some great music at a local establishment. From Gulf Shores, you can take a scenic 22-mile drive to the tip of the peninsula and tour historic Fort Morgan. Also, enjoy the Gulf Shores Mardi Gras and tour of homes in February.

Mobile, about 30 miles from the park, offers full metropolitan services. For the carnival enthusiast, there is the William and Emily Hearin Mobile Carnival Museum. If you are in the area, the USS Alabama is a must visit where you can walk the decks of ships, see a World War II submarine, and even see the cockpit of a combat aircraft!
